24F and wanting to seriously invest!

Hii!! I’m pretty sure there have been multiple posts about the same thing: being new and wanting to invest. But well I want to learn and take this seriously! I’m 24F and finally got employed after a year since I graduated and a year of job hunting.

Ever since I got a job, all I could think of was how I could further secure my future. However, I don’t know where exactly or how to start with investing.

I’ve lurked around the forums both PH and International. I’ve heard of GoTrade and IBKR, even S&P 500. But, where do I start? What should I know more about? (Please dumb it down for me, I learn more with examples/situations provided ndbdjsjs).

As of now, I’ve started with digital banks such as GoTyme and Maribank with ₱5k each (time deposits). I have Unionbank savings around ₱40k and BDO payroll.

My current plans?
Open Tonik and BanKo and deposit ₱5k each.
Open up MP2 with Pag-Ibig (₱5k starting) this year for annual cash out.
(For next year) Open a 2nd MP2 with Pag-Ibig with the 5th year compounded cash out (using the 1st MP2 as initial starting).

Once I get this all rolling I just plan to deposit ₱2k (or any extra money) every month to each account (GoTyme, Maribank, Tonik, BanKo, MP2) and then some to investing.

Edit: Am I doing this right? Finally having my thoughts and plans posted made me anxious hahaha I’m just worried that maybe I’m thinking too far ahead. I just really want to start sooner than later and regret it later on 👉🏻👈🏻🥹

First ever legitimate savings!

Hii! Like the title says, this is my first ever legitimate savings. I’m 24F, and finally got a job after a year of searching and a year since I graduated (the job market was not kind mabdjdje 🥹)

A bit of background: I was able to save up money during college, but as a gastador it wasn’t much 👉🏻👈🏻🥹 I finally got my first salary and it just made me realize that planning financially should start as soon as possible!

As of right now I have GoTyme and Maribank with ₱5k each (time deposits), Unionbank for stash savings, BDO for payroll, and Maya (still debating on using this).

Current Plan?
Open Tonik and BanKo and deposit ₱5k each.
Open up MP2 with Pag-Ibig (₱5k starting) this year for annual cash out.
(For next year) Open a 2nd MP2 with Pag-Ibig with the 5th year compounded cash out (using the 1st MP2 as initial starting).

Once I get this all rolling I just plan to deposit ₱2k (or any extra money) every month to each account (GoTyme, Maribank, Tonik, BanKo, MP2).

I also wanted to ask for any tips to help save and grow money? Or any experiences that you’d wish younger you would have known?

Thank you!!!!
