I’ve (F 24) been with my partner (M 25) almost 2 years this year. We want to travel either interstate and then hopefully overseas.

My problem is how to tell my dad. My dad doesn’t approve of my relationship because of assumptions and judgements he has towards my partner (which are untrue and irrational).

Dad knows im still seeing my partner as I mention his name when i go out with him on dates etc.

I have a lot of anxious feelings thinking of telling dad if i wanna go travel with my partner (either over a weekend and in future, will be a few weeks)

Any advice? Would like to hear people who had similar experiences and what they did?
