G11-2018 750i
Hello, BMW techs I would like to access some of your wisdom! A few weeks ago go I got a drive train malfunction and I scanned the car and thought I had it narrowed down to the waste gate actuator. So I ordered one and replaced it. I used the ITSA software to re-calibrate the actuators to get them in tolerance. I got them in tolerance with the software and then put the G11 back together and took it for a spin. It ran great no error code.
I then drove it back home and parked it and around 45min later I got back in to go to the store and on my way to the store the drive train malfunction came back with the reduced power. I then took it back home and rescanned it with the ITSA software and these are the codes it gave me.
120408 – Charging pressure control: Switch-off as consequence
• 120908 – Charging pressure control 2: Switch-off as consequence
• 123513 – Electric wastegate valve, position sensor signal: Not plausible
• 123525 – Electrical wastegate valve 2, position sensor: Supply voltage implausible
• 123701 – Electric wastegate valve, position sensor: Short circuit to B+
I did some research on the codes and I thought it could possibly be the AGM battery because it is around 6 years old(rear battery). That didn’t fix anything. So now I am kinda stumped and was wondering if anyone had any ideas.
Thank you!
