How was the door of Moody’s office blasted apart ? Book - GOF, Chapter- Veritaserum.

I believe “Stupefy” spell was cast by Moody, as could hear Moody’s voice casting the spell in the Audiobook. Am not able to understand how then the door of his office was blasted apart. Also why did Moody fall backwards, should have been forward as his back was facing the door i believe.
