Breast prosthetics after top surgery?
Context, im afab, i have hormone imbalances which could qualify me as intersex, but i feel meh about pronouns. Everyone told me im a she, thats fine with me.
I also love dressing up femininely, and i HATE the gender neurtal uniform i wear for work. My natural breasts could be mistaken for manboobs when i wear a sports bra or swimwear. They're not "tiny", they're big enough to be annoying when im sleeping. but my belly is rounder, and my cleavage is so low, every bra i buy is so uncomfortable. Most of my bras are pushup bras, but they add foam below the boobs, its not enough and too low down the torso. I've had this issue as a size 10, 12, 14, 16 ,18... my chest measurements are always 1cm less than my belly measurements. Im a size 14 nowadays.
So, I've always wanted to be able to take my boobs off at the end of the day. Just hang them up by the door and flop chest first onto the lounge lol. I want to wear gorgeous dresses that fit. I want to wear a big tshirt that drapes over my chest, not over my stomach. Im ace, so I don't care what i look like naked, and i don't care if they "feel" real.
I sometimes strangely hope I'll be diagnosed with some benign breast cancer, so i dont have to explain my feelings to anyone. I would just say "i have breast cancer!", insist on a double masectomy, buy some prosthetics, and live the dream. Ive thought about lying, but i don't think i could bear it.
Can anyone relate? Better yet, has anyone here gone through with top surgery and then worn prosthetics for work etc? Is there anything i should consider first? If you have any questions, ask me anything!
