Civilian Occupational Therapist looking to join the Navy
Hello, I apologize if this question has been asked in the past, but I couldn’t quite find an answer in my search attempts.
I am a civilian OT looking to join as an OT in the Navy. I have about 6 years of experience (both in the private and federal sector via the Veteran’s Affairs Health Administration) and have always wanted to join the military since even before graduate school.
I am seeking any guidance in the most efficient course to apply as an OT in the military, and to seek what experiences/timelines others have had in this process.
My passion to join is strong, so I am also open to other opportunities in the Navy other than my current profession. But of course hoping to find avenues in the healthcare “world”. Thank you in advance.
