BeaverCheck — free web audit: full Lighthouse + 8 weighted categories, no login, every report a permanent URL

Paste any URL → BeaverCheck runs full Lighthouse (mobile and desktop) plus 100+ additional checks, grading the site across 8 weighted categories into one composite A–F score at a permanent shareable URL. No account, no email wall, no queue, no "you're #47 in line."

The 8 categories (composite weight in parens — Performance and Security dominate by design):

  • Performance — 25%. Lighthouse mobile and desktop runs, Core Web Vitals (LCP/FCP/CLS/TTFB), JS execution + main-thread cost, render-blocking resources, image optimization, brotli/gzip, caching, HTTP/3.
  • Security — 25%. TLS version + cert chain, full security-header set (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, Referrer-Policy, COOP/COEP), cookie hygiene (Secure/HttpOnly/SameSite), strict-CSP inline-style/script analysis, known-vulnerable JS libraries, HSTS-preload status.
  • Accessibility — 15%. Alt text, html[lang], landmark structure (main/nav), heading hierarchy, skip links, iframe titles, tabindex misuse, contrast.
  • SEO — 10%. Canonical, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, meta description + title length, Open Graph, JSON-LD/structured data, hreflang, image filename quality, internal-link graph.
  • Infrastructure — 10%. DNS (A/AAAA/CAA/DNSSEC), IPv6 reachability, CDN detection, registrar lock, HTTP/2, multi-region probes.
  • Compliance — 8%. GDPR Article 13 disclosure coverage (follows your linked /privacy page), cookie-consent banner detection, non-essential cookie classification, viewport meta, accessibility statement.
  • Content — 5%. Broken links, mixed content, image dimension/sizing waste, OG/social-card preview, structured-data validation, reading level.
  • Sustainability — 2%. Estimated CO₂ per page load, Green Web Foundation hosting check, page-weight budget.

Every category drills down to row-level findings, each ranked into a Fix Priority Matrix (quick wins vs. strategic vs. low-impact), so you get an ordered to-do list, not a wall of red.

Why it exists: every audit tool I liked gated results behind signup, throttled the free tier into uselessness, or made reports disposable. Here the report is a durable artifact you can paste in a PR or a client email and it stays live.
