Anyone else have a spouse who ninja goes to bed?
Figured I'd post a lighter topic since most are heavy around here. So we've been married 13 years, together 15, and my wife has a quirk that seems very odd to me. We have very different sleep habits - I generally go to bed between 11-11:30 on weeknights, whereas she's anywhere between 9 pm and 2 am. About half the time she goes to bed before me, she goes to bed without saying a word. No "good night" or " I'm going to bed." She's often sound asleep before i realize she's even gone to bed.
She has a way of ninja-ing it, like tonight, where I'll be in the bedroom and then go to see what she's up to, and then I can't find her and I go back to the bedroom to find she's in there asleep. Like I just walked out of the room 3 minutes ago?!?
There have been times we're watching TV and she walks away and I'm sitting waiting for her to come back to restart the show, only to find she went to bed.
Is this as weird as it seems to me? To be clear, it's not a big deal, just seems...odd.
