does anyone know when 9th grade shsat is going to be this year. Because I’m pretty sure highscools are not going to announce it like middle school. Also if I do khan academy 8th grade math and algebra, will that be able to cover the whole math section of the test
. I recently saw on the Schools.NYC website that the SHSAT will have 50 questions per section, and I wanted to confirm if this also applies to the 9th grade test. In previous years, the 9th grade SHSAT included 10 field (unscored) questions, so I was wondering if there will still be 10 field questions on the Fall 2026 test or if that has changed. I also wanted to ask if the scoring system will remain the same, since the highest score used to be 700, or if there will be any changes such as different weighting of questions.
Is there algebra 1 on the 9th grade SHSAT?
And if not what is on it? if you can, can you give specific math topics like linear functions, etc
And would Khan Academy 8th grade be a good study source?
Because I know its not algebra so should I also take pre-algebra and algebra 1 as well
