Anyone else use ThredUp for work clothes? Tips for finding better condition items?

I recently started a new job and realized pretty quickly that my wardrobe wasn't cutting it for the dress code. Buying everything new felt impossible once the costs started stacking up, so I gave ThredUp a shot.

Honestly, I was surprised. I've picked up a few blazers, some blouses, and a pair of dress pants that all look barely worn. The prices were way more reasonable than anything at regular retail, and it felt good not having to buy everything brand new.

That said, there are some quirks. Sizing is always a bit of a gamble since you're going off listed measurements and hoping the photos are accurate. I've had a couple of misses, but most of my orders have been solid.

Has anyone else used ThredUp specifically to put together a work wardrobe? What categories or brands have worked best for you? Any tips for filtering or searching to find better condition items? I feel like I'm still figuring out how to navigate the site efficiently and would love to hear what's worked for other people.

Building a capsule wardrobe for frequent work travel-what are your nonnegotiables?

I travel for work pretty regularly, hopping between cities every couple of weeks, and I'm finally committing to building a proper capsule wardrobe around it. So tired of overpacking and still feeling like I have nothing to wear when I get there.

My main challenges are looking polished enough for meetings while also having pieces that work for casual dinners or wandering a new city on a free afternoon. Everything also needs to pack well and not wrinkle the second it hits a suitcase.

Right now I'm thinking a neutral color palette, mostly navy, white, grey, and camel, with a few versatile shoes that can go from day to evening. I lean toward classic and clean rather than trendy.

A few specific questions I'd love input on. How many bottoms do you find is genuinely enough for a twoweek trip? Do you prioritize wrinkleresistant fabrics over natural ones like linen or cotton? And how do you handle the smart casual overlap without packing two completely separate looks?

Would love to hear what has actually worked for other frequent travelers. Specific pieces or combinations are especially welcome since I get more out of real examples than general advice.
