Does anyone know of any free and reliable tools to perform fundamental analysis on comparable data
I’m referring to something like a screener with multiple businesses in the sector, comparing metrics like EV/EBITDA etc
After passing the CFA I thought I could create financial models much better but I realised that I’m taking a lot of time building my excel model, a lot of it is spent copy pasting and linking pages together
Just wanted to ask if there’s a better way to do it? Or is that generally industry practice.
Also is it just me or does everyone else find a bulk of the work of building the model a chore… I enjoy the research of understanding how a business works and forecasting it into the future, but the linking and stuff ain’t it
