Getting ridiculous

At exactly 11pm I refreshed and saw a bassinet. We desperately need on in the family. I clicked it as fast as humanly possible and gone.

This is getting ridiculous. Either companies are only offering 1 item or bots are snatching everything.

Ive been doing this for 3.5 years and when I started high value and useful items would sit in RFY for hours. There was never this issue.

My theory is;

  1. too many viners

  2. sellers provide only 1 or 2 products

  3. bots bots and more bots!

This makes this no fun at all and does make me question the time I spend monitoring drops. I figure ill get my 80 reviews and then chill.

Thanks for reading my rant.

Items from Vine we liked so much we bought more

Ive been in VINE for 3+ years now and occasionally I get an item I like so much i buy more or get more of the same type of item from the same manufacturer. For example...I got some artificial petunias I put in my garden. They are so realistic people think they are real and comment on them. I have subsequently got more of them that I bought.

2+ years ago I got my biggest find ever. It was a $5k laser projector from AWOL. I love it so much when they came out with an improved version through kickstarter, I got and paid for the upgraded version.

Id love to hear about other items people have gotten that were so good you paid to get more more.

An interesting observation

Has anyone else noticed that we aren't hearing about people getting booted from VINE for strange review related issues. Seems there were a few here and lots of them on the USA vine group. Seems after the reviews statistics got fixed after a couple weeks of our stats not updating that the booted members went down as well. Just wondering if there was a bug about reviews that got fixed which also fixed people getting booted by mistake.

My stats just updated!

My stats finally updated. Seems the glitch may be starting to end. Hope everyone else is updating too especially the people with imminent evaluations.

Banned members and review stats glitch

I was wondering if there is a relationship between people banned because of review activity when they've done nothing wrong and the glitch where our review stats aren't updating. Could Amazon be working on the banning glitch so stopped reviews being analyzed and included in our stats? Hope this is the case and they stop banning people for no reason and start including our current reviews in our stats. Any thoughts or am I out in left field.

An interesting post from someone who was recently banned and got back fast

I know that there have been a few people banned for apparently no reason, but it seems the common thing is that they are all for review-related issues, and the ban is from community standards and not VINE. This makes it so you can't review, and therefore you can't be a part of VINE. This poster was banned and gives the method by which he got reinstated within 24 hours. He ignored VINE customer service and went straight to Community standards. Once his review privileges were back, he was back in VINE. I just wanted to post this in case someone here gets this problem. The thread is a very interesting read.

On another note...Interestingly, the review updating problem is happening at the same time that people are, for no reason, getting banned for review-related issues. Maybe they are fixing this issue, and it has stopped updating our review stats while they work on this.

Review stats not updating issue addressed on the main VINE reddit group

Apparently, last night there was a message to our American VINER friends stating that they were aware of the problem with review stats not updating, and it will be fixed, and nothing else needs to be done. Surprised we haven't seen this message yet, but at least we know VINE is aware of the problem.

Seeing lots of banned posts in USA vine

Just curious. There are a large number of posts from people being banned for no apparent reason in the main vine reddit group. Has anyone in Canada had this issue. Last posting was someone who did a lot of reviews all at once. So maybe there are some common denominators or maybe it's a glitch. Most won't admit if they are bot users or not.

Someone even posted that doing a review on a word processor then copying and pasting it might make the system think the review was typed too fast. Lots of speculation. Just want people's thoughts or if anyone was banned did you get back.
