2021 Base Carbon Diverge(nub advice)
My last bike was a 2011 trek hybrid that i stopped riding years ago. Bike obsessed friend got me hyped to bike again so I Bought this 61cm 2021 Diverge Carbon Base off of FB marketplace that the seller had upgraded.
Seller's Upgrades
-Hunt 35 carbon gravel wheelset
- SRAM Rival AXS shifters/brakes
- GX Eagle AXS wireless derailleur
- GX Eagle cassette
- SRAM Force cranks
-wolftooth 38t elliptical chainring
-tubeless 40mm wtb setup
My analysis:
No cracks, dull sounds etc,New chain, pads rotors etc.
Shifted very smoothly. I sprinted max effort (im like 264lb 6'5 ) no creaks or nothing. Delayed braking(needed brake bleed) gave me $150 off.
I think I got an amazing price on the bike but would like to know what more experienced people think a good price is? I paid $2700
I would also lile to know if there are any qol upgrades or accessories you would reccomend?
Upgrades I have already gotten since purchase:
- power mirror pro seat
- garmin edge 840
- good front & rear lights& mirror
- power mx-1 spd power meter pedals
- lake mx190 shoes
- gravelking x1 tires(spares for when wtbs giveout)
(I know its like a kid in a candy store. But i did get all these items well below retail price)
