I want to hear some thoughts on this. I'm in university, I workout, have goals, ambitions, work hard on myself and try to be the best. But the guys who end up being my friends are careless lazy boring people with no hopes or dreams or motivation to do anything fun or useful in life.

And the girls who show interest in me are ugly, annoying with bad personality while the good looking smart girls never look in my direction.
I am trying to be better everyday and improve so I am sure I'm on the right path but I'm unsure why these kind of people always end up in my way.
