Am I right to be angry about this

I used to suffer from cystic acne on my back. For a period of about 4 years. It would come and go very randomly, and I noticed a few months after I estranged myself from my physically/emotionally abusive parents- it never came back as bad as it had been before.

Cut to February/March of 2020, I had a relatively minor outbreak on my back. Desperately tried to get a hold of an esthetician in my city to quickly schedule a back facial with extractions but the Covid shutdowns began that same week. I was out of luck.

My last ditch attempt to get rid of my blemish was to call up my ex boyfriend and hoped that he would be able to remove the clogged pore for me. Major, major mistake. He spent about 10 or 15 minutes trying to “extract” the pore but ended up pushing the blemish further into my skin. When he was done making it worse, I looked in the mirror and saw a small shallow piece of skin just hanging off my back and a big nail mark right over the clogged pore, not around it. I told him he wasn’t even supposed to use his nails, just pressure. He got angry with me and said “how the hell am I supposed to know how to pop it? I’ve never had one my entire life.” The next day, a huge red bump appeared on that same spot, and the blemish had to heal itself underneath my skin instead of getting it out of there, the way I wanted it to be. It took a week to go away.

I understand this was years ago, but it still bothers me that this happened to me. I don’t understand how somebody can lack the common sense to just pop a damn clogged pore out.

30s Omaha girlie looking for hiking partner

Hey there,

My current hiking partner is moving to Cincinatti (?) if that’s how you spell it lol. Anyway, close friend is moving to Ohio, and I don’t have any other close friends in this area to go hiking with. Some of the trails I love here are Hitchcock, Fontanelle, and sometimes I will venture farther out to Colorado, just not solo. ☀️ I am friendly, nonjudgmental, sober, and have a love of cats. 🐈‍⬛ Although puppies do melt my heart sometimes. Being in nature calms me and gets me away from the noise pollution of the city. I try to live a peaceful life and prefer to be in the company of people who value the same.

If you’d like to meet up for a tea or coffee to see if we could possible be hiking partners, shoot me a DM.
