Hotel Recs For First Timers
Hey y’all, my gf and I are visiting for the first time in October and could use some help narrowing down our hotel search. Our budget is around $1,500-$1,800, we may be willing to stretch this a bit if anyone else can provide some recommendations that would be worth the extra cash.
We’ve narrowed down our choices to the following:
-Madison Saint Charles
-Rahtbone Mansion (on esplanade)
-Club Wyndham Ave Plaza
We are in our mid 30s and traveling alone. Looking for something near all the main points of interest (garden district, French quarter, WW2 museum, etc). Anything on st Charles ave or near a street car line would be ideal. We’re looking for something with a grown up vibe and social atmosphere, something not too quiet and not too loud.
