Need some guidance on replacing this without removing the starter.

I can feel two bolts I need to undo (above the area circled green) to free the bracket and allow the cube to be removed. Supposedly a spanner can be slipped underneath the starter and these bolts loosened just enough to get the bushing out. (Bushing is above the area circled red)

However as far as I can tell this is absolutely NOT possible, maybe its because this is a 3rd gen 3sgte but theres i can't see a way to do it. Just wondering if there's another way to achieve this.

Just had the car on a lift for the first time to check it out. Looks really really solid for what it’s worth. One thing i noticed however is that the ?fuel? line in the back of the engine bay is verryy rusty (pic attached). Can they be purchased somewhere here in europe or can i bend them myself? They look pretty much like a little thicker brake lines. Second thing is the bushings are shot. I really like the energy suspension bushings on my Mx5 but it’s hard to find them over here in europe. Anyone know a shop where i can buy them? Thanks for the help!

Hi all, my current stock exhaust is rather rotten, and im looking for suggestions and experiences with some aftermarket exhaust,

I know Mongoose, Fujitsubo Legalis, and Sky tuning

(Also japspeed but I've decided against that one)

Of the three I cant seem to get a Sky tuning anymore sadly, and the Fujitsubo seems the most easily obtained these days, but what would be the best exhaust for a bit of a louder rougher sound? Compared to stock

Bonjour l'équipe MR2, j'ai récemment acheté une MR2 GTS hardtop JDM de 1994 équipée du fameux moteur 3S-GTE de troisième génération, mais elle n'a pas roulé depuis 6 ans.

J'ai essayé de faire tourner le moteur à la main en actionnant la poulie de vilebrequin, mais il est complètement bloqué.

Lorsque j'ai vidangé l'huile, la première partie était très visqueuse, et par endroits, gélatineuse et légèrement blanchâtre. Ensuite, l'huile noire qui est sortie était extrêmement liquide.

J'ai donc décidé de démonter le carter d'huile (il est en deux parties, et la partie supérieure en aluminium est très fragile).

Voici ce que j'ai trouvé à l'intérieur ( look pictures ). Pensez-vous que ce moteur soit récupérable ou est-il bon pour la casse ? Pour information, j'habite en France, donc les pièces détachées pour ces modèles sont assez rares ici, et je ne trouve personne qui vende une Gen 3 dans ma région.

I’m in need of a new top on my mr2 spyder. What are some places I can get a decent top for a reasonable price (not 1000 dollars). If anyone has one for sale too I’d love to buy it. I’m sure I can get a great top if I drop a band but I just need it to last a bit

I have a 1998 G-Limited (in Canada). Looking to potentially purchase an extra windshield (probably Pilkington or Fuyao, I don't know any others) in case I get more rock-chips in the future. My current windshield is a Fuyao and it is black all the way around; there's no numbers or letters anywhere except for around the Fuyao logo.

If you own a JDM RHD SW20, could you check for me if there is anywhere on your windshield for a VIN code or anything like that? It'd also be great to know what year your SW20 is. Thanks.

Finally finished a little project I was working on and felt like I needed to show it off. Made some LED headlights for the frog with some Hela projectors and some off the shelf LED rings. Will maybe make a more detailed post about the process over the weekend but here’s some pics!

I originally had a no crank issue so I bridged the negative terminal to the shifter bracket with a jumper cable and now I have a no start issue. I bridged the FP-B+ for the fuel pump, heard no prime. I then sprayed starting fluid in the intake and I smelled the starting fluid come out so I don’t know what it could be.
