Requirements for Sale Posts

Hiiiii! I thought we had seller guidelines as a separate post, but I cannot find it so posting again. Below are the requirements for selling items on r/slime, whether it's slime, slime supplies or something else entirely.

These guidelines are subject to change, and are subject to mod discretion.

🔑 **Requirements for Sellers** 🔑

📸 **Pictures:** Include at least one photo of the slime(s) you’re selling. A group shot is fine, but please make sure buyers can see what’s being offered. It doesn't have to be a professional quality photo - just a photo showing you're actually in possession of what you're offering for sale.

🫆 **EXCEPTION:** For mystery box slimes, you do not have to include pictures! You can include a picture of what might be included if you want, but since it would ruin the fun of a mystery box, it's not required.

⏳**Condition & Age:** Note whether the slime is new, unopened, mixed once, lightly played with, etc. For “age,” an estimate is fine (e.g., purchased in Winter 2024 or about a month old). Do not say a slime is new if it's been played with 1-2x. This likely will not be a deal breaker for most people, but they deserve the opportunity to make an informed decision.

💰 **Payment Method:** You must offer at least one payment method that offers an option for buyer/seller protection (e.g., PayPal Goods & Services, Venmo with Purchase Protection). You can use other methods if both parties agree, but at least one option with "protection" should be offered.

🛡️ **Karma Requirement:** To (hopefully) help avoid scammers, sellers must have at least 100 karma to post. It's encourages for sellers to do their own due diligence on potential buyers, since most conversations will take place via chat/DM.

📣 Please contact mods if you have any questions or concerns. If you feel like you've been scammed, please let the mod team know ASAP! While mods are not responsible for transactions, we will try to help if possible. **Proven scammers will be banned.**

That’s it! Happy buying, selling, and swapping slimes! 💕

Hiiii! I saw the post someone made here a few days ago about the Elmer's glue on sale on Amazon for $9-10 and grabbed a gallon of school glue. This morning, I was pouring some into a small 4oz bottle to add to slime that's starting to shrink or die, and noticed it looked.....off.

It could have been air bubbles, but it looked sort of grainy??? It almost looked like it had sprinkles of pumice sand in it. And also, it was thin -- thinner than I thought it should be or remembered it being.

I usually use Amazon school glue, so I immediately went to that gallon & poured some into another small 4oz bottle, just to make sure I'm remembering right, and it was def thicker & smooth.

Now I'm a little scared to add it to my slimes. Did anyone else order this when it was on sale from Amazon? I'm a little worried that maybe they sold us some old batches or something, or I'm just being paranoid and it was just air bubbles and it's no big deal.

If you ordered the Elmer's school glue, have you used it yet?
