Hi guys! Thanks so much for the slushee slime recs in the last post! ❤️ I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find good, ** packed** bubble bead slimes? My favorite of all time was one from Rodem, but she hasn't stocked them in a while. OG uses the beads a lot, but it seems like they don't really do crunch bomb textures with them. I want one that's made to be crunchy and... froggy? If you know what I mean. Thanks!!!

I tried to make it as similar to the real one as possible, I made a jelly slime and added bingsu beads to it, I made it pumpkin pie scented instead, and I didn't add glitter to the cloud though.
I know Sandy Bros and Leafy Slime by Ky both do. Are there others I am missing? Thanks.

Okay so i’ve order off of about 15 different slime shops over the years and this may just be the best slime i’ve ever touched. the pictures really don’t show how beautiful these are. honestly pilots been eating lately and I love them for it. definately would be my first choice to recommend with og slime at second place.
Scents have always messed with me, but recently it has even more. All of my recent orders, the slimer moon collection from og, lime slimes, momo, the scents have made me genuinely sick. I have multiple slimes that haven’t affected me before from these same shops, so it definitely not their fault, the scents have just been too potent.
The point being, I haven’t really seen any shops have a good, interesting variety of unscented slimes. And if they are unscented they are boring or plain. Does anyone know of any shops that have unscented slimes? I hate that all of my favorites have been messing with me so much, but I’ve hardly been able to play with slimes recently and searching the sub didn’t help at all.

i was recently introduced to slime—god damnit.
i have always been a “tactile” girlie (i simply obsess over textures). it’s rapidly become my new addiction and perfect 🍃 pastime.
i first ordered from peachybbies, because that’s how i was introduced to slime. it seems to be a great introduction slime, or gateway slime, if you will.
first order was two cloud slimes, one jelly slime, and one memory butter. first week was nuts. playing multiple times a day, on long phone calls, etc etc. i’m now realizing that might have been a bit overkill. definitely noticing shrinkage and stiffness in all four slimes. added water to memory butter and that definitely helped. the jelly slime is probably my second favorite texture (but that blueberry cow is actually so dreamy and top tier, in my novice opinion 🫐)
so naturally, now i’m deep in reddit, tik tok, and the slime shops drooling over what is next. i’ve placed three more orders (fml) and definitely need to be on a strict buy ban, like truly. because to be clear, this is in the span of two weeks and i am spending money i should simply not be lol.
i guess i come on here to say, how do i maximize the use of these slimes? any general advice? i have the activator and softener pens too. i also acknowledge that if i am using it a lot, it will only live for so long. c’est la vie.

Hello!! My work is holding a slime making event and I was wondering what are the essentials to get for the kids to have the best time. So far I have clear elmers glue, mica powder for colour and baking soda as an activator. I want them to have options to make different types of slimes and maybe even scents? Please send any and all suggestions!!!
I’m just curious if she ever explained this policy beyond the fact that she doesn’t allow it.
I’ve always thought of slime as a fun and relaxing hobby that can bring together people with different backgrounds and opinions. Recently, though, I’ve noticed more discussions about whether certain shops or collaborations should be supported based on issues outside of slime itself.
For example, I recently saw discussion surrounding a Harry Potter collaboration, with some people saying that others shouldn’t support the shop because of it. This made me wonder where people think the line should be between discussing concerns and encouraging others to stop engaging with a business. Recently I’ve seen customer complaints about shops described as “slander” or inappropriate, while calls for people not to support a shop over something unrelated to the actual quality of its products are treated differently. It feels ironic and inconsistent.
As a parent, I also worry about how much conflict and divisive language children encounter in what is supposed to be a hobby community. People claim to be a “safe space” on their slime profiles, but then use language that is just as divisive and vulgar as the people they associate with—except the target changes. My 13-year-old daughter enjoys slime because it’s fun and relaxing, and she doesn’t have the language or honestly the time to navigate constant arguments just to participate in the community. This space has a lot of kids, and they need a space to just be kids and to destress. A 13-year-old looking for slime content shouldn’t have to scroll through constant arguments and hostility.
And to the people who say it has to be that way: why does it have to be all about you? Can you not consider others—like my 13-year-old daughter—who don’t want or need to be exposed? There are plenty of communities to discuss content like that, but only one community for people to discuss slime. Why does it have to become another place for people to project their personal beliefs onto everyone else?
My daughter has mentioned that there were shops with very clear associations to right at Slime City Con, yet that barely seems to be discussed, and everyone still seems to support them. But if someone does a collaboration that another person takes personal offense to, suddenly there’s a massive campaign telling people they shouldn’t support them. Why is one considered acceptable while the other apparently crosses “the line”?
Why is one situation treated as normal discussion, while another is treated as beyond the acceptable boundary?
And before anyone decides to make assumptions about me: no, I am not on that side. I just think it’s ridiculous that a community that constantly describes itself as “safe” and “inclusive” can become so hostile toward anyone who doesn’t agree with whatever opinions certain people have decided everyone else should share. I don’t want my daughter exposed to this kind of language and constant hostility when she’s simply trying to enjoy slime. I do not understand why every hobby and every community has to become another place for people to project their personal beliefs onto everyone else.
Does anyone else notice this and get tired of it?

I joined because I wanted another place to talk slime and get to know other people who love it as much as I do. Running a slime business can sometimes feel a little lonely when you’re doing your own thing all the time.
We recently attended our first slime convention and I finally got to meet so many other amazing slimers in person. I had such a good time that it really made me want to get more involved in the slime community and find more places where we can all connect.

hey everyone! i was lucky enough to visit beijing, and figured i'd pick up and try some of their store bought slimes. i usually only buy the handmade type, so i was also curious to see the difference in texture..
15RMB (~2USD) was the one that made me want to buy more.. this one feels like a thicker coated clear that could stretch slowly without ripping, and made super loud pops! definitely not as good as handmade, but still really nice. it's also got a pleasantly light blue raspberry scent!
12.6RMB (<2USD) in hindsight, i should've expected this to be a putty based on the size, but i'm not mad about it. it's a pretty color with some glitter, and feels almost identical to the crazy aaron's i've tried...
6.9RMB (~1USD) sadly such a typical store-bought slime texture.. this had such a pretty color in the jar but ended up being that typical rip-y and stiff slime texture. i was sad about it so i didn't take a pic... :-(
I think I'm going back to the store where I bought the first one soon-- hopefully I have better luck there! :-)
I want to surprise my wife by offering her her first slime , she always wanted to do one but her parents didn’t let her. I was thinking that I could buy the ingredients for us to create our own, or to buy her a few. What are the best ingredients to create a good fluffy slime ?
