I have begun sitting for a client who has an I disclosed TERRIBLE German roach infestation. I did not notice at the meet and greet but after spending some time there I have seen them crawling on every surface of the apartment by now.

I don’t want to leave the cats in the lurch but I am of course disgusted and extremely concerned about bringing them home with me.

Contacting rover support currently. Anyone have experience with this situation?

Hey y’all! I’m very lightly allergic to cats and prone to hives. I just adopted a couple kitties and so far so good in terms of itchy eyes/sneezing — keeping them out of my bedroom for now, have them on LiveClear food, vacuuming/swapping sheets often.

I have just suddenly become 24/7 itchy and it is kind of driving me nuts. I’m on Zyrtec 2x day and I don’t feel it improving the situation much. Any hives/allergy sufferers got any advice that could help me?

Hi all!

I’ve been sitting for a litter of foster cats lately and fell in love with one of them. I adopted her this week and she’s been adapting great to my place! I’m realizing she’s quite curious and energetic and while I love playing with her, I work a lot and so am out of the house often. I’m worried about her being under-stimulated.

She had a sibling who was very sweet and friendly as well. I’m debating whether I ought to try and adopt a second cat to keep my little one company, or whether that would be biting off way more than I can chew and I ought to focus on providing enrichment for the cat I adopted.

Thoughts/advice would be much appreciated!

I have a meet and greet scheduled for today but I’ve been struggling with communication with the owner. Her messages are borderline nonsensical and it’s very hard for me to understand what she’s trying to communicate. She was messaging me late last night and seemed to be inebriated. The booking is scheduled to start on Friday but depending how the meet and greet goes I’m considering; is it bad form for me to decline so close to the booking? I would have met with her sooner but her communication lapsed.
