Goodwill Donation Snafu
I just tried to donate a small coffee table to Goodwill along with some games. I took everything to the donation drop off area and the worker took the games and told me that I had to take the coffee table inside of the store to donate it. I drove back to the parking area, parked, carried the table in and the person inside of the store told me they aren't accepting furniture donations. I hauled it back out to my truck and drove it back home. What a waste of time and gas. I looked at their website before going to the Goodwill and I actually tried to call to ask about their current donation policy before I drove to the Goodwill and I just got a recording that said that nobody is available to take a call. I know that I will get a reply saying that I should donate the item somewhere other than Goodwill but there is no place else close by that takes donations.
