I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while and wanted to hear from people who have actually been through it.
My old Instagram account was permanently disabled. I created a completely new account because I still wanted to post content in the same niche.
The thing that’s confusing me is whether Instagram continues to associate the new account with the old one. I’ve seen so many different opinions online. Some people say the same phone or Wi-Fi doesn’t matter at all, while others claim it can affect reach or trust. It’s really hard to know what’s true and what’s just speculation.
I’m not looking for ways to bypass rules or anything like that. I just want to build a clean account the right way without accidentally carrying over problems from the old one.
For anyone who has been in a similar situation:
Did you use the same phone?
Did you use the same home Wi-Fi?
Did you reuse any old content?
How long did it take before your reels started getting normal reach again?

Hi this is to tell you guys that i have been through all the posts on this community and after going all through this i have learn very much things from this community from gac and small claims and everything so the. Main point is if you want to save your account from being disabled don’t upload any identity card which they says to click instead if you want to protect your instagram id just make sure to wait and if your scanner one shows up just upload it and you will get back you id within few seconds i know this is disheartening but instagram is a trash app full pdf and many more creepy people and they are targeting innocent people like they are violating anything but in-fact you even buy anything or do gac or small claims its gonna cost you time so just make sure be aware that if you change settings of you account many frequently like pfp username or upload or reupload or do things very quickly or busy changing ad accounts or many things they are gonna suspend your account for absolutely doing nothing meta ai and their support is trash
