I’m currently receiving Ontario Works and have an overpayment owing.

I’ve been waiting for my ODSP decision since November 2025. If I’m approved at court around December 2026, I understand I may receive retroactive ODSP backpay.

My question is: What happens to my ODSP backpay if I already owe Ontario Works? Will the entire ODSP backpay be applied toward my OW overpayment once approved, or would I receive the backpay directly without it affecting my outstanding balance?

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I’d really appreciate hearing how it worked for you.

I was wondering if there is any way to receive additional financial assistance for this cream through the manufacturer. I completed the assistance application, but I was only approved for a 20% discount.

Unfortunately, I am currently unemployed and cannot afford the remaining cost, especially since I have been prescribed five refills.

I am currently receiving Ontario Works government’s assistance and have reached out to them regarding drug coverage, but I am still waiting for a response. Any additional assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
