Has anyone else been randomly unfollowing people on Instagram without doing it themselves?

This has happened to me many times now. I suddenly notice that I’m no longer following certain people even though I never unfollowed them manually.

Also, my follower count keeps randomly decreasing.

I’m trying to figure out if this is a bug, Instagram removing accounts, or maybe some kind of security issue.

Has this happened to anyone else?
