Been hearing a lot lately about cleaning dryers…..

I’ve had this dryer since I’ve moved in 3 years ago (it was the previous owners)

Do I need to undo this silver hose and clean it of lint? I’ve never done it before (dryer seems to be working well still, no issues.)

I’ve heard lint can build up in there and cause fires.

Any advice is welcome

Dumb question, is there ANY way I can watch the last half hour of the movie without getting a streaming service?

I watched the movie on a plane coming home from vacation and I’m SUCKED IN. Unfortunately the pilot managed to somehow get to the destination half an hour earlier than what was assumed (legit never heard of that happening)

Because of that I missed the last half hour and all I can think of now is DID HE MAKE IT BACK HOME? Did earth get saved?! Is Rocky alive?!

I realize it’s a long shot (a Hail Mary if you will) but is there anyway anyone can think of where I don’t have to spend $10 to watch half an hour of a movie??

Toy Story 5 was…. Interesting (Spoiler free)

Just got out of Toy Story 5. I’m weirdly not going to make a video review for this one (even thought the movie reviews really POP off on views)

It wasn’t bad or anything, I quite enjoyed it (thought it was better than 4, but still not as good as the first three)

As a millennial my opinion on franchises I grew up on that are still generating new material is always a bit jagged, but honestly, 7.5/10 for me.

Pros:
The B plot was FANTASTIC and an absolute riot to watch unfold.

There was more of a reliance of emotional weight and trauma than the previous movie had. Jessie has grown to be one of my favorite toys.

The jokes were handled fairly well (which is surprising because I fully expected a certain new character to just make fart jokes the whole time)

The clash between toys and tech is very modern, but it toes the fence pretty well without saying one is better than the other.

Cons:
Just like Toy Story 4 it feels like my favorite characters are just there for marketing to older audiences and assuring them nothing has changed. Mr. Potato head has 3 lines in the entire movie.

There is a complete 180 of the antagonist’s motivation after a certain point. The movie tries to justify it but it’s so fast and jarring it left me with whiplash.

There was some weeeeird leaps of logic, especially regarding the functionality of the tech toys. Why is an electronic toilet training device able to connect to the WiFi and a digital camera???

Buzz and Woody have a rivalry again in this and it just seems weird coming after the previous 3 movies where they are extra kind to each other. It felt like it was only added to have the line “Its so nice to see them fighting again” in the trailer to use for nostalgia bait.

All in all, it’s not a bad movie by any merit. I’m constantly shocked with how the Toy Story movies never feel like cash grabs like so many other franchises still chugging along. It genuinely feels like these movies are written around great stories instead of financial ideas.
