Fed up with my Dreame X60. Are Roborocks actually smarter?

I’ve been using a Dreame X60 for a while now and I’m honestly getting pretty frustrated.

The biggest issue is obstacle avoidance. It repeatedly bumps into table and chair legs, even though they’re clearly visible. It also keeps trying to drive between U-shaped chair legs when there’s obviously not enough space, gets stuck, backs out, and then immediately tries the exact same thing again.

Other issues I’ve noticed:
It occasionally drives into closed doors.
It pushes lightweight furniture around with the extendable side arm.
Navigation often feels hesitant, with frequent braking and unnecessary route corrections.

I’ve already been in contact with Dreame support, but I’m starting to wonder whether this is just how the X60 is designed.

So my question to the community is:

Is there actually a robot vacuum that reliably avoids table legs and knows not to repeatedly try squeezing through spaces that are obviously too narrow?

I’m not looking for perfection, but I do expect a premium robot to learn from failed attempts instead of making the same mistake over and over.
I’d love to hear your experiences, especially if you’ve switched from a Dreame to another brand like Roborock, Narwal, or anything else.
