[Giannis Trade Discussion] Can anyone explain why the Heat's odds have increased so much over the last few days?

Over the last couple of days, the Heat have skyrocketed from 11% to 27% favorites to land Giannis per (redacted prediction market)^(1). Does anyone know why? Has anything substantially changed in the last couple of days?

For context, his odds to stay in Milwaukee are 18%, and the next team under that in odds is Boston at 9%. I'm a Heat fan and pretty well informed about what's going on with the Heat. I haven't seen anything substantially new from any of our sources. I've seen Ocho talking about one of his realtor sources saying GA is house hunting in Miami (shaky source at best, outright bias propaganda from a Heat fan at worst) and i've seen Miami's confirmed offer for Giannis, including Ware-Herro-pick 13-and 2 future firsts.

Just don't get the sudden change in odds this week.

No, Giannis being sponsored by (redacted prediction market) does not play a role in this lol

London Trade just went down. How did I do?

Came in 3rd last year. Would’ve won the championship if I didn’t have an uncharacteristic semifinals.

My team now:
Caleb/Purdy
Bijan
Achane
Jefferson
Amon-ra
Brown London
McBride
Kicker
Def

Bench:
Brooks
Pearsall
Pierce
Strange
Moore

Brown while I do agree he’ll be good with Maye, this is a great opportunity to sell him with the hype before he becomes a 29 year old unmovable roster spot.

Am I crazy for considering this trade? Is this a step back at competing this season?

I’ve been all over the place with this trade idea recently. I really have wanted London for a while, but haven’t had anything I’ve wanted to trade him for. Now AJ brown is going to be likely heading to the patriots this offseason, and who has Drake Maye? The London owner.

Feel like stars are aligning for me to get my guy, and trading away AJ is a real option I’m considering. (Generally thinking AJ + Pierce and a 2nd or AJ + 26 1st) for London)

I’ve bounced this around with a few buddies and I’ve gotten crazy mixed reviews. Some guys say the fall of that Drake London will have this season playing with a new/bad QB and a new OC and HC will be very risky. The same people are saying AJ Brown is going to be playing for a coach and OC that let him thrive in with the titans, and playing with an elite pass hungry QB that loves deep balls. The perfect spot for him this season.

I Agree that AJB has a great chance to out produce London this year in his situation, and be an elite contending piece for another year (maybe). But is the dynasty long term benefit of having London added to this roster going to hurt my ability to compete this year?

For context, I’m neck and neck with the other best team in the league. He’s star loaded with Dak Ceedee Puka Kyren, JT, etc. Does London this year put us over the hump?

12 team start 9 (def+kicker) 1 flex no TEP. 4th year dynasty
