Could Kane go on to make an SCP movie?
Sorry if this is too off-topic, but given the success of Kane's backrooms movie, do you think he might tackle the SCP universe?
The origin of SCP is identical to the backrooms; they both started as a simple post on 4chan. Both grew into a communal creative sandbox and grew an enormous following.
Aside from Kane's interpretation, the online 'lore' of the backrooms has been criticised as a watered down version of the SCP 'lore'.
Kane clearly loves and respects the simplicity of the backrooms concept, and I don't expect him to run the concept into the ground. Based on what I know about him, he'll create his vision and finish it. Afterwards, I expect him to move on to the next project / idea.
If anyone deserves to adapt the SCP universe to film / tv I believe he's earned the right to do so- and I hope he does.
There are so many compelling stories in the SCP lore that would adapt brilliantly to the screen. In my opinion the concept is an untapped goldmine.
