Should I remove the dry stuff onthe stem before burying it?

Should I remove the dry stuff onthe stem before burying it?

Or is it ok to leave it? Is it going to rot?

This aloe has been neglected for quite some time, so it stretched and now is leaning. Now that she has good roots I want to change the pot for a deeper one, so I can bury the stem and she can develop new roots from there and be more stable, but I'm unsure about what to do with the leftovers of her old dried leaves

Growth on cactus (and id)

I got this cactus one year ago, it was very neglected and the person I got it from couldn't tell me what kind of cactus it is, any idea?

Also there is this growth near the top, is this a pup or a flower? It already has two pups growing from the base, this is a new one for me!

Thanks!

Is this a pest?

What are these very small white creatures on my aeonium?
