Daze in response to Fatal Push on the stack to turn on Revolt.

I'm somewhat new to MTGO, but I have been playing paper for a while. I believe Revolt does not check until the actual resolution of Fatal Push.

I wanted to Fatal Push a mana value 4 creature by targeting it with Fatal Push, and in response, using Daze on my Fatal Push sending an Island back to my hand to turn on Revolt, and pay for Daze.

I've tried to do this twice, and it didn't work each time. It just came up as "Cast" each time, rather than the alternative, "Cast on a 4 CMC or less creature" or something to that tune. I can't figure it out, and I'm certain this is a "me" problem being a novice to MTGO.

Can someone explain to me how I can accomplish this on MTGO? Thank you very much.

For those who received your "Golden Letter" yesterday, today EdFinancial zeroed me out!

As the title states! Go check your loan servicer! I've been checking all day, and sometime after approximately 12pm EST, it happened. They zeroed me out today after receiving the letter yesterday. No notification either, I just had to log in and see it for myself.

For more info on the "Golden Letter" or my timeline, please see my other post, I'll link it!

Good luck to all, and congratulations to those at the end!

How I found my "Golden Letter."

I'm creating this post to hopefully clear up any confusion for those chasing their 120th payment, are getting very close, or are awaiting discharge.

When I first started browsing around here, I kept seeing references to a "Golden Letter." First off, the letter is not actually "golden," but metaphorically, it may be to some. The letter serves as the official notice to you and for your loan servicer to go ahead and discharge your eligible loans, which they can not do until this letter goes out. While browsing, and literally until today, I thought this was something I needed to wait for as an envelope in the mail.

From what I gather, Federal Student Aid usually sends these out in one big wave to those receiving it, usually the last week of the month, and typically on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. The letter is sneakily posted with no email notice or any other form of notification -- and unless you know exactly what you're looking for or how to find it, you may miss it, just like I did today. I'm going to tell you exactly what it's called and where exactly to find it. See below:

  1. Login to studentaid.gov.

  2. Click on "Menu."

  3. Select "My Activity."

  4. Scroll all the way down to the "Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)" dropdown menu listed under "Activity History" and click on it.

Your "Golden Letter" should be the top item in there, and it's called: "PSLF Correspondence: Forgiveness Eligibility Notification" with a "Received on" date notated below it.

  1. Click on "PSLF Correspondence: Forgiveness Eligibility Notification."

  2. Finally, click on "Forgiveness Eligibility Notification." This will bring up the PDF document of your "Golden Letter," if available.

My timeline for those wondering:

Loan Servicer: EdFinancial

Program: PSLF

04/22/26: Made my 120th payment.

05/17/26: 120th payment actually due on this date.

05/18/26: Submitted my final employment verification (selected that I did complete all 120 payments and that I wished to continue to pay monthly, eventually receiving a refund for overpayment after discharge).

05/22/26: Employer completed verification, and Federal Student Aid acknowledged its receipt. Green ribbons also appeared.

06/05/26: Made my 121st payment (as I didn't choose forbearance), due later actually on 06/17/26.

06/25/26 (Thu): Received the "Golden Letter," which states my discharge will be effective 05/31/26 for approximately $44,000 worth of loans.

Still awaiting:

Zeroes on EdFinancial. UPDATE: 06/26/26 after 12pm EST.

(For those looking for a more succint timeline, it was 39 days from final employment verification submission to being zeroed out by my loan servicer.)

Zeroes on Federal Student Aid.

Cleared off my credit report.

Receipt of one month of overpayment (121st payment).

I will update this accordingly for those following or those that may come across this in the future. I hope this helps someone. Good luck to all, hang in there, and those about to be finished completely like myself, congratulations!

TL;DR: The "Golden Letter" isn't actually golden. It's an official notice to you and for your loan servicer to go ahead and discharge your eligible loans. It's sent electronically with no notification. It's called "Forgiveness Eligibility Notification" and can be found in studentaid.gov under Menu, My Activity, scroll down to Activity History, click on the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) menu, and then click on PSLF Correspondence: Forgiveness Eligibility Notification. The letters are usually sent out the last week of every month on Wed, Thu, or Fri.

Legacy and Vintage 2-Player Queue dead

I'm somewhat newer to MTGO coming from paper Magic, but I'm also not oblivious. I get it, no one wants to queue into a single round where your prize is 30 play points. I know, leagues are where most people play, is a "true" test of your deck, and rewards relatively nicely. However, sometimes I just want to, or have just enough time for a single round -- and I want it to be for something, rather than just hopping into a quick play. Sure, I could also use a League for a close experience, but it's not exactly the same in terms of pay in and pay out.

I'm not sure if other formats' 2-Player Queues are the same or not, but I've had both Legacy and Vintage open for hours with no one joining. I don't want this to seem like whining when I can just go play a League (play my one game and the rest at my convenience), and that's what I intend to do as that seems to be my only option, but the point I want to bring attention to is the 2-Player Queue constructed event in general. Is Daybreak aware no one is utilizing these events? Could they do something to make it better, to make people want to join and have it be worth their time? Perhaps, change the prize structure, buy in, or something else? Or just remove them entirely, I suppose, because what's the point?

Like I said, I'm newer to MTGO, so I hope any of what I've written doesn't sound crazy. I'm enjoying my experience being on MTGO so far and just want to see it better.

TL;DR: The 2-Player Queue constructed format is dead. Daybreak should figure out a way to incentivize them or just remove them entirely.
