As the title suggests, I need the most broken, utterly bullshit hax decks, this world has ever seen, and will ever see (until i make another post like this in like 6 years).

My friend group wants to start doing ranked competitive MTG, and I just need like CEDH5 and higher. Like I want them to fear me. I want to rub it in their face that I can actually do stuff.

I just have the Warhammer 40k set. You send me a deck or something, ill get it. You give me suggestions ill take them.

Returning to MTGO after a long time, mostly to play Pauper but possibly interested in other formats as well.

I see a format called Contraption in the collection filters. When I search for it, there's info about how they've used it to test premodern, but it looks like premodern is its own thing now. If I go to the constructed tab, the note says "Standard, but only BLB-forward". Well, that's definitely not what's showing up in my collection filter. I tried to get some information on the official MTGO site, but can't find anything. Anyone know?

I made https://mtgoevents.com. A clean weekly view of every scheduled MTGO event. mtgoupdate.com (the existing one) inspired me; this is just my take with a couple of extras I wanted for myself:

  - One-click "Add to Google Calendar" on every event

  - Subscribe to a filtered .ics feed. Pick the formats/types you care about, paste the link into Google Calendar / Apple Calendar / Outlook, and it auto-updates every 15 min

  - Timezone picker (defaults to your browser, full IANA list) so the times are always your local

  - URL state. Your filter selection lives in the URL, so you can bookmark or share `mtgoevents.com/?formats=Pauper&types=Challenge` and it loads pre-filtered

  - Past events disappear automatically so the grid only shows what's ahead

  - Works on phone / tablet / desktop

  Data comes from the official MTGO feed (mtgo.com/calendar.ics), refreshed every 15 minutes.

  Feedback very welcome — especially on event-type groupings, formats I might've missed, or anything that would make it more useful for what you do.

So I am thinking of starting playing on mtgo

But one question is there anyway to start playing without sending 10 tx for a league ?

Seems a bit high of a price.

I know thay if you go more than 3-2 you get enough points to play again but wondering if there is any way at the start to get playpoints?

is there any way on mtgo to build my own cube and invite friends/strangers to draft with me? I’ve been in a long recovery after a major surgery and I miss cubing with my friends. it would be great to be able to play online with one of mine.

How is cube on MTGO - is it as popular, if not more than MTGA, on this platform? Is there a reason people prefer cube here over MTGA?

I'm a pretty novice cuber but I had a few fun runs on MTGA that made me want to keep playing sometimes when I have time.

Hey Folks!

I'm new to MTGO so i might be missing something obvious here but why amnt i able to cast pyroblast against negate in this scenario? I tried to cast it each time, and then after that i started trying it with every blue spell and it just showed a greyed out option for cast each time

This is the second time this has happened and the first one lead me to lose the match when i tried to counter their counterspell, so if anyone could shine some clarity on this it would be really appreciated :)

I'm new on mtgo and I wanted to buy my favourite commander Edgar Markov, but why is he by far the most expensive?

Hey, new MTGO player here.

I play with a Modern Black disrupt midrange deck. It's not tier 1/2, more like a rogue homebrew deck.
I'm also interested in ocasionally playing Legacy, lots of the modern cards I'm buying carry over to the Legacy deck.

I understand it's a harder deck to pilot and to be able to go 3-1 or 4-0 on FNMs it requires a lot of reps and knowledge of how to interact with meta decks.

I try to replicate the decks on Arena (for free) but the meta is really different there.

So I figured playing MTGO and doing matches there could help me, it's also not an expensive deck on MTGO.

That being said, what's the best way to get those extra reps on MTGO and have an extra "FNM" experience?
I'm aware there are friendly leagues, competitive leagues, and just friendly matches. How much do those cost to enter? Which of those are the closer to FNM experience?

What would be my best approach here?

Hi all, as the title, I’m looking for playing MTGO on some portable device.

Working all day long on my desk, at the end of the day I don’t want to stay there anymore.

I was exploring solutions like mirroring my PC screen on the iPad but I’m open also to more audacious ideas like screen casting on a modded psp or something like that on any portable console. I really don’t need to play remotely.

I’d like to use a controller or a touchscreen instead of the mouse

Any idea?

Im a new player to MTGO and some sites won't sell tix to European countries.

What is the best place to currently get tix to buy cards?

And also, why are some rando uncommons so expensive, like Mishra's Bauble?

Been gone for nearly 20 years. MTGA is nice look and feel but hollow community and no way to do Player Run Events like the old PDCs etc.

How's it doing in 2026? And is it a friendly user interface?

I play a lot on MTGA. Mostly historic Bo3 or Brawl. But I have always loved Pauper and hate that it’s not supported in MTGA as a regular format.

Was thinking of getting a cheaper windows tablet to play on the couch. I work in an office all day and don’t want to spend nights on a computer once I get home.

Is the pauper scene strong enough to do something like this? Anyone have recommendations for a tablet if so.

I miss the old ability to set to <4 or >4 to avoid having 4 of any particular card across sets (MTGO 2002-2009 era). Just recently returned to MTGO and trying to trade for cards I dont have 4x of (regardless of set). Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
