Back again this week with something a little bit different. My wife and I recently lost our boy Cosmo to cancer recently, so I wanted to do something fun to honor his memory, so I went all in on cats in legacy. This is definitely a brew that took the theme to the max, and is championed by Kaheera and has one plan and one plan only, completely flood the board with cats. I tried to make this as competitive as I could while keeping on theme, but this is definitely just a fun brew to honor Cosmo and all the other pets we've loved and lost over our lives. draws 2 lands 100% of the time, as long as there are 2 lands in my library

I started MTGO and Modern in general about 1 week ago and rented an Esper Goryo's deck purely because it's a meta deck.

I've had ~5 people called me things such as a "Craggy asshole" or "you home no family and friends because you play that no brain shitty deck"

I've never once said anything in the chats first to instigate this, simply when I ephemerate a Solitude or Goryo's an Atraxa they lose their shit!

While I really don't mind this (I've been on the internet forever and I just block them and concede the match) it's pretty crazy that it's happened in about 5/50 matches

With the Hobbit I started grinding mtgo again. But seems like the next two limited qualifiers will be marvel super heroes.

Will there not be any the hobbit qualifiers? Why not?

Has anyone out there tried Forge Web? If so how does it compare to MTG Forge?

I’d love to playtest decks virtually against bots/AI before building them.

I just don’t want to download all of the GitHub stuff and go through the setup.

Would love recs for easy to use platform for playing mtg for free.

Have they said anything in either direction and why they chose that way?

Hi all, I'm thinking about giving MTGO a go, but due to no access to Windows I need some more info before I try to set it up.

Because of life I have little time to play MTG in real life. I'm mostly interested in playing limited and cube.

How does limited work after drafting? Do you need to play your 3 rounds of matches directly and back to back? Or is it more like Arena where you can play them after drafting (and thus playing opponents from outside your pool)?

For cube I have the same questions as above and is there an option next to vintage cube? Or hosting a custom cube to draft?

Whenever I try to create a new trade binder, or interact with an existing one, it freezes the MTGO client.

1. Is anyone else having this problem?

2. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What are the performance like on Microsoft Surface tablets? I'm looking at something more performant right now such as this :

I just don't want a super laggy experience like I have right now on my T470.

I was taking my opponent's turn after casting an Emrakul, the Promised End and I put a stop on their upkeep (and draw step) to try and flashback their otherworldly gaze I couldn't cast it, tap lands for mana, or cast the instants in their hands. Once I went to their main phase I could do all that.

I also couldn't activate psychic frog with a goryo's vengeance on the stack in another game (also an emrakul turn)

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I havent played in 10+ years ( besides this weekend ) and miss limited.

Im signing up for MTGO now and would love if anyone wanted to become friends and play together !

The nostalgia of drafting the cards that were in my first decks ever and the rares I could never get my hands on is one thing. But boy is this set fun. You can draft stuff like monored aggro, BW pestilence, blue tempo, stompy, and even get away with goofy combos like [[Fire Ants]] + [[Venomous Fangs]]. [[Worship]] and [[Opalescence]] are a thing. [[Smokestack]] is a thing. I've lived the dream of winning games via [[Sleeper Agent]]. Thank you WOTC!
