I’ve just completed my ER. 4 follicles produced 2 eggs. We find out if they become an embryo tomorrow. I asked as soon as I was able to post procedure and cried when my partner said they collected two eggies, I was obviously wanting more.

Just looking for anyone in the same boat who now has a beautiful baby!

Also looking to set expectations really 🤞

Edit: had the call that one egg has fertilised. Waiting until Wednesday to see if we can do the transfer. We opted for embryoscope to see how the embryo is getting along in maturity. Still v positive - it only takes one!

I really wish I had seen this community before starting my ivf cycle but I’m glad I’m here now. Everyone seems v friendly and encouraging. I’m fairly new to all the terms and still getting my head around the process so I may get a few things wrong , apologies!

Looking for a bit of advice or if anyone has been through something similar at my age.

I’m 29 F and have an AMH of 3.2 pmol/L. My husband and I have been trying for a child for 4 years with no luck. It’s been rather exhausting getting to where we are now. I had been v active and love weight training but my bmi was 33 at one point so I’ve now got it down to 28 which allows NHS funding of our cycle.

Partner has perfect spermies.

I had been experiencing perimenopause symptoms for the last 2 years. It’s been awful. I felt like a stranger in my own body. Hot flushes, moody, angry alllll the time. We had a private appointment and I had been prescribed HRT gel and progesterone to help with the symptoms. It was fantastic. I have come off HRT 4 months ago (as i had been told it acts as a contraceptive) and then told I’m good to go with our short protocol. I’m day 6 of high dose stims. They’ve found 5 follicles that are growing (v exciting!) and we’re feeling positive.

The thing I’m worried about is my body has gone through a lot. It’s also changed a lot due to the crazy hormones. I have been warned that if it is a successful pregnancy (so hopeful!), I could come out the other end being menopausal. Due to how crazy I’ve been and with a little one, it is worrying me.

Is anyone going through something similar? Any advice plsplsplsplspls🙏
