Hello everyone,

I have a 4-year-old Shih Tzu who recently suffered an internal injury and unfortunately had severe blood loss over the last couple of days. The vet has advised that he may need a blood transfusion, and the donor dog should ideally be 25 kg or above.

If anyone here has gone through a pet blood transfusion before, I’d really appreciate any guidance or advice about the process. I’d also like to know the approximate cost involved and how to arrange a donor.
