Is ISYE 6501 worth it? Did you actually take any useful info from the class or do I opt out?

I was approved to opt out ISYE 6501 IAM but still debating if I should just replace it with an easy MGT elective or if I do take this class am I able to gain more useful knowledge than what I already have.

I don’t want to take this class just for it to be busy work in R and actually gain nothing from it and get a B in it. I also feel like a lot of jobs out there only use Python and not R

Right now, I’m planning on taking 6040 and 6203 in the fall but I originally was gonna take 6203 and 6501 before I got approved to opt out.

Would appreciate any advice on if this class is worth taking even if I got approved to opt out! Thanks!

Would appreciate feedback and thoughts.

I’m opting out of MGT 6201 since my undergrad is Business so just taking one of the business courses to replace that. Thinking of doing the CDA track.

Should I switch simulation and regression? Would FM or DM be better with regression/what’s easier? Any other feedback/things I should switch?
