What does your ideal qpr look like?

I keep seeing comments of people saying a qpr is either a friendship, romantic and or sexual relationship. I also hear that they also say that alterous attraction is in between platonic and romantic feelings. As someone who has experienced alterous attraction categorizing it is hard, I don’t think I can compare that to a platonic or romantic bond. For me I want to be chosen by them and committed to me. I want to live in the same house as them and raising a kid(s) together, they have to have the same hobbies as me, same personality, no romantic stuff, no sexual stuff. But we have to define what it is. But I am curious how do you picture your ideal qpr? I am also curious about if you see a qpr as a friendship or as it’s own thing like I do?

What is the difference between averse and repulsed?

Use definitions and examples to explain it. I need examples cause it better helps me understand what it is, so personal testimony if you are comfortable sharing helps.

Are there any shows, movies, anime, comics, manga, webtoons, books, or other media with no romance and or no sexual content? I’m looking for recommendations.

Fully Asexuals and/or Fully Aromantics what is your personal experience using Acespace?

I’ve used AceSpace for almost two years, and I’m fully asexual and fully aromantic. I wanted to share my experience and also hear how it has been for other people with similar orientations.

Most of the people I met on the app tended to be somewhere on the graysexual or asexual spectrum, which was generally fine and expected. I also met one person who identified as somewhere on the grayromantic spectrum. However, even after I clearly communicated that I was only interested in a platonic relationship, he repeatedly asked for my photo and tried to push for a romantic relationship despite my boundaries. Eventually, I stopped interacting with him, and he left the platform.

Overall, my experience has been mixed. I did make one genuine friend through the app, which was a positive outcome. I also met a few others who shared my orientation, but those connections didn’t really work out—some conversations weren’t mutual effort, some personality differences made connection difficult, and in some cases people weren’t consistently active, so communication dropped off.

Looking at the general user trends/statistics this year also made me feel a bit discouraged, since it seems like fully aroace users may be a smaller portion of the user base.

What I’m ultimately looking for is a platonic life partnership / queerplatonic relationship with no romantic or sexual component. I’ve also thought about the possibility of having children in the future, but right now it feels uncertain whether I’ll be able to find that kind of connection.

I’m curious, what have other fully aroace people experienced on AceSpace? Have you found it useful for meeting people with similar relationship goals?
This will help me out immensely.

Aces who have dated other asexuals or graysexuals what is your experience?

When I mean graysexuals I mean (people who experience little attraction at all towards anyone) you know the gray spectrum. For asexuals I mean (people who experience no sexual attraction at all towards anyone)
