Bug/Mistake in Substat highlighting for Lucilla and Phrolova

[EDIT: I didn't know it's based on player statistics. Lucilla makes sense, but Phrolova havers/mains stop getting basic atk dmg on her pls - this stat has been highlighted for her since her release!]

When gearing my Lucilla, I realized that they highlight ER as a useful substat for her:

ER highlighted for Lucilla

This is obviously not the case for either Lucilla variations; the liberation does not have a resonance cost.

This also reminded me of a major inconsistency with Phrolova's Substat highlighting, which still exists in the game:

Basic% highlighted for Phrolova

Flat Atk not highlighted for Phrolova

Phrolova does next to no basic atk damage in her rotations (roughly 5%). But if that is enough for the stat to be highlighted, then it doesn't make sense that flat atk is not highlighted.

On a scale where an average substat roll of crit increases Phrolova's damage by, say, 100, the average substat roll of basic atk will increase Phrolova's damage by roughly 2.5, while an average flat atk roll will increase her damage by 25.

In other words, Flat Atk is roughly 10x better on Phrolova than Basic% substat!

Wuwa not highlighting flat stats for any characters (as far as I know) is already not correct, because a major chunk of Wuwa's characters actually care about flat atk just as much, if not, more than their primary substat scalings. Phrolova is actually one of them: on the scale mentioned above, an average Skill% substat roll would increase Phrolova's damage by 25 - same as flat atk.

But if they don't want to highlight flat atk, for whatever reason, they should at least not highlight other stats that are in the similar range or weaker (or in Phrolova's case, significantly weaker).

Hiyuki-Lucilla-Chisa SUB 30, No Quickswap, Easy 123 Rotation (she needs like no ER with Lucilla)

01:00 - First rotation is done with griefed Echoes to test very low ER amounts. Hiyuki gets her Liberation back despite having only 6.8% ER.

05:14 - Second rotation is done with normal Echoes to show it's easily possible to get 4 full rotations without any quickswaps.

Hiyuki needs ONLY 105% ER with Lucilla

I tested Hiyuki - Lucilla - Chisa in simple 123 rotations against the Matrix Mimic stage 2. (Hiyuki is S0R1, the other two are S0R0)

Hiyuki comfortably gets her Liberation back with even 106.8% ER. Running no ER on her makes it so that you need a couple more basics before you can use it.

This means that a comfortable ER range for Hiyuki (where, if you accidentally miss her first ult on the enemy or smt similar, you still get your Lib back) is between 105 to 108%.

I don't see this mentioned anywhere, and I needed this data to accurately calculate Echo/Build Scores (www.echovaluecalc.com).

Compared to her second best team, Lynae + Chisa - which requires 120% ER on Hiyuki, the difference is massive. So if I'm mistaken here or maybe there's another reason why my Hiyuki is getting away with so less ER other than just switching Lynae with Lucilla, I would love to know!

3.4 Segue MSQ is hands down my FAVORITE Wuwa quest [very minor spoilers]

Lucilla’s quest – We Choose the Sky

In terms of writing and the whole experience, 3.1 is still the best for sure. But this 3.4 quest is VERY close, and it was more emotional for me than 3.1. But I wanted to discuss one particular theme explored in this quest that I just love.

Back at the very start of the 3.1 story quest, when we were still not sure what sort of themes and character stories we will be exploring in Lahai-Roi, our conversation with Luuk really got my attention:

>So many dream of being the voyager who returns from the stars, the first to walk the cosmos once more. But in all these years, no one has succeeded. The Etheric Sea Phenomenon cast us into isolation. But it also gave birth to all our dreams of what could lie beyond.

And those dreams… are still alive today.

(from 3.1)

I’m not just talking about these lines, but the entire scene.

Based on this scene, the kind of story I thought we could explore, and I hoped we would explore, is something that we actually DID explore in this Lucilla’s quest.

Like, this is literally everything I wanted, except it’s WAY BETTER than that!

In our real life, many advancements and conveniences that we have are largely a result of curious exploration, for the sake of itself!

Einstein didn’t develop theory of relativity to solve a practical problem – he did it to explore and muse over abstract physics concepts (also something for the sake of itself). This applies to most of the brilliant minds and most of the incredible and complex concepts in mathematics and sciences (and many other fields) that run our world today. They were not discovered for the purpose of being “useful” – they were just a result of our curiosity and the need to ask questions and search for answers – again, for its own sake.

There were multiple human species/lineages, but now there’s just us: Homo sapiens. The reasons and details are complex, but one of them is about how human curiosity and the desire to seek information is what allowed us to adapt in unfamiliar or harsh environments. “Why risk lives and cross those huge mountains, or risk falling off the edge of the earth on the sea?” It’s not that we are not risk-averse. In fact, we’re very risk-averse. The human feelings of curiosity and the intense desire to venture out and explore (physically or conceptually) is one of the core things that makes us who we are. We don’t stop “looking for a way out” just because we don’t need to. If the pursuit of knowledge and information is risky… if exploring something is risky, we don’t just stop doing it. That’s not even an option. We find out many ways to adapt and do it anyway.

Or at least, that’s a romantic notion I believe in. This is the kind of theme that’s (of course) heavily tied with space-exploration stories (real or fictional). I always thought that we may explore this at some point in Wuwa, but to have this story quest now, and for it to be this good was not what I was expecting!!!

Of course, this is far from the only thing that I love about this quest. So go play it! It does a way better job of trying to convey what I’m talking about anyway!
The story-telling, the presentation, Lucilla's personal character story, and literally everything else about this quest was absolutely phenomenal. To me, this quest is just as unforgattable as 3.1.

If 3.1 was 11/10, this is 10 or 10.5 at least! Wuwa somehow just does not miss!
