Looking for best not too sweet cake for husband’s birthday

Hi everyone 😊 I just wanted to ask for recommendations and a little help.

My husband’s birthday is coming up in few days and I really want to surprise him with a cake, pizza, and chicken on the eve of his birthday as a simple thank you for everything he does for us. We’re new here in SF, living in a studio apartment with our baby, and we don’t have a car, so I’m honestly a bit lost on where and how to order everything.

I was checking out Schubert's Bakery because I heard their cakes are really good, but I’m confused which cake to choose especially since my husband doesn’t like overly sweet cakes. Also, I found out they don’t directly deliver and I couldn’t find them on DoorDash.

Does anyone have recommendations on:
• Which cake from Schubert’s would be best for someone who prefers less sweet cakes?
• How I can get it delivered or picked up without a car?
• Good pizza and chicken places that deliver in SF that is not that expensive as we’re still adjusting our way here

To add more information to this post, I’m in the Tenderloin area. I’m looking for an option where I can just order everything and have it delivered here. If possible, I’d like to buy from different stores, such as cake, pizza, and chicken, but have them delivered in just one order or one coordinated delivery.

If you know any options aside from DoorDash and Uber Eats, please let me know, as I can’t go out. I really want to surprise him with everything without leaving the apartment. He doesn’t want me going out alone because he doesn’t feel safe with people outside, even during the daytime.

Also, do cake shops here usually have number candles for age and Happy Birthday signs?

Thank you so much. I really just want to make his birthday special even in a simple way 🤍

Trying to Restart My Career While Raising My Son but How?

Hi everyone, I would really appreciate your suggestions or advice. 🙏

I’m currently looking for an entrylevel work from home job. At this point, I’m open to almost any remote opportunity because I want to help add income to our household while taking care of my 14month old son.

My long term goal is actually to enter the IT/Computer Science field. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science back in 2012, but life took me in a different direction. I worked as a Brand Ambassador for many years, and it provided well for my family. I was even able to support my two siblings through school until they graduated. Unfortunately, everything changed when the pandemic hit.

I’m now here in San Francisco, trying to restart my career and improve our situation. I’ve been applying through Indeed and other platforms, but most jobs require experience with tools like CRM systems, Zendesk, and other software that I honestly don’t have experience with yet.

Right now, I’m considering studying for an Associate’s Degree in IT as a refresher and to rebuild my skills/confidence. But I’m wondering:

• Is going back to school the right move?
• Should I focus first on certifications or self-study instead? If yes which certificates will land me to a job and what do you recommend for me to study?
• What entry-level remote jobs should I target?

• I’ve been seeing a lot of AI Trainer job postings on Indeed. How can I start entering that industry?
• Are there beginner-friendly IT or customer support roles that can help me gain experience?

I’m willing to learn and work hard. I just honestly feel overwhelmed about where to start again after being away from the field for so long. Sorry for all my questions. I’m just feeling very lost right now and scred to make a move. I don’t know if it’s postpartum or something else, but I want to fight through it and prove to myself that I can do this.

Any advice, guidance, or even sharing your own experience would mean a lot to me. Thank you so much. ❤️
