(IDEA off) Site/ Domain/ server/ family tree/ template/ hosting options for a certain family tree surname starting 14'th century

(Did some digging 15 years ago, forgotten, recovered some info etc,) but got this "idea" of creating somehow interactive digital record for a family, that have records starting (on/off) 1467.
It is NOT that big of a family (families) in one European country at the present (I'd estimate about ~300) and worldwide perhaps another ~+200 people max, that have same roots, bear the (same) surname....
BUT stumbled on a simplest start point as WHAT format I should try to build in (as per title), It's rather rare name, so I've no difficulty in registering or purchasing domain from $10USD + $13USD a year rent/register maintenance after, but thinking of the way as how to make it easier/better from perspective of feature/future proofing. Will not going to be hosting no ads, nor I need any www exposure/promotion- matter of principal. Them online genealogy trees...- scam in it's concept, although some already have certain info, but as soon as one, anyone wish to view/research his/hers ancestry becomes paid option (just nonsense, I'm not going to put up with, nor, I'd wish or any (even distant) relatives to be dragged in to)
Got that named https://...x..blogspot.com/, that I've had for different purposes, obviously free, but it's format isn't suitable for a additions, entries by anyone, but myself... it rather is bit annoying, that no visitors would have no easy way to add/suggest/expand entries. Not optimal.
Have considered hosting boards for, as Fireboard or ProBoards etc... problem?- need adds, visitor traffic to maintain it, even paid ones.
Thingies like Wikipedia had crossed my mind, as there are some entries scattered about, but mods (jannies lol) there are unbearable to put up with, BUT it's well documented, free, and likely to remain safe for years to come, PROBLEM: current, living people need be of social significance to have their records there and then legal (non) disclosure EU laws "kill" it....
Staring from "fresh" as own server/domain doable... I don't fancy my chances, that it would be reliable for many years and decades to come, TBH and unsure, if worth the effort either.

PS AI- is a no go rubbish, due to testing done, laugh due to crazy inaccuracies, impossibile to tune up to information gathering alone, never mind to try to get any realistic ideas to build on.
