Tips for second monitor and potential monitor arm
Hello!
I made my setup last year but seeing some of your setups makes me want to take it further.
My desk is L shaped. My monitor is a 34" ultrawide (MEG 342C QD-OLED from MSI) which takes a lot of space, it's placed on longest side of my desk and uses almost the entirety of it (posted pictures). On the right there's my microphone (and its arm). The cable management rack can be removed I believe.
Getting a dual monitor is my priority for now as I play games while being on discord, sites/guides for my games or to watch videos/movies while gaming and plan on streaming in the future. I plan on having it put horizontally for these reasons but I think having a 27'' or more would take too much space and cost more than needed.
I'm thinking of removing the cable rack, create a bigger gap between the desk and the wall for a dual monitor arm but I'm also afraid to pick one that's too weak. It weights 9.3 Kg/13.9 Kg, 6.5 Kg without stand and it has a 100 x 100 mm VESA fixation. I'm also not sure whether I should get a monitor arm for each monitors or have one for the two of them.
My knowledge is limited in this domain so I'm asking you if you have any recommendations?
