Forza Horizon 6 4k test on RX 6800xt using FSR4 quality mode with optiscaler client
I was curious to see how my 6800xt would handle Forza at 4k, I was fairly surprised that with most settings at extreme, and a couple settings at very high I was able to get 75-85 fps with fsr3 set to quality. Unfortunately fsr3 had lots of issues, basically everything is distractingly shimmery, especially the foliage and it was just hard to look at lol. I decided to try out the optiscaler client and was able to configure fsr4.0.2c and tweaked the sharpness settings a tad, and was shocked at the night and day difference in image quality immediately. It did lower my fps to about 65-78 fps but I think the image quality more than makes up for the lost performance.
