I recently picked up this Arc'teryx jacket at the REI Re/Supply a few months ago for a really good deal. It's an older model, though, that was discontinued in 2021, if I'm not mistaken. It's The Arc'teryx Zeta AR. And I was able to finally take it out in the rain this weekend, but almost right away the water would just stick to the jacket and bleed through and wet out all over. I have heard that, since this is an older Gore-Tex jacket, it also has PFAS in it, so that's one of my concerns.

I know that even briefly wearing it, I'm slowly spreading PFAS to my other clothes and so on. But I don't want to speed up the process of that (even if it's very, very minor). Because of that, I don't want to put it in a washing machine and dryer.

I know that to properly reapply the DWR finish again, I should wash the jacket with a special washing detergent for it and then, once it's wet, spray on the DWR coating and then heat-treat it in a dryer.

But I'm wondering if anyone else has any ideas or suggestions on how to wash this jacket properly that's not in a washing machine. I was wondering if maybe washing it in a bucket and then spraying on the coating and then heating it with a hair dryer would work, or would that be dumb? If I'm forced to use a washing machine, I will. But I have never done this before and was looking to get some feedback from people who have.

Tent - Mountain Hardwear Drifter 3 Tent (10 years old+ Maybe)

I was being stupid after horse camping near the ocean on a road trip, and then we left in the morning after a big fog layer covered the campground and made everything moist. And quickly stuffed it into a box to pack up. Then had a 6-hour car ride back in hot weather. Got home and totally blanked on taking it out and drying it out, then a few days later I took it out, and it was covered in black mold everywhere. I wasn't sure what to do, and my mother started helping out and cleaning with disinfectant wipes, and we tried leaving it out in the sun as well to have the UV kill some of the stuff. But it didn't work too well, and just packed it up and forgot about it for about a year.

I just took it out again today, and it looks like a large majority of the mold went away, but you can still see a lot of moldy spots on the tent and rainfly.
I'm curious if there is any way to clean this tent and get rid of the mold, or will it pretty much always be here? And since it is black mold, will it ever be safe to sleep inside it again, or is it pretty much done for?

Once I opened it again today I also noticed that the seam tape is coming off everywhere which is bazzare. And I know it makes it nonwater proof anywhere and I'm curious if there is a way to fix it and reapply seam tape after cleaning it or is it to complcated/too much work for this tent.

I'd love to save this tent and clean/fix it if possible, since it's treated me great. But I'm not sure if it's worth all the trouble to go through that or not, and I wanted to get people's advice. If it does seem saveable, then I'd appreciate a lot on how people would suggest cleaning/fixing it.

If it's a lost cause, then if anyone has any suggestions on new tents, I'd love to hear that as well

Didn't realize it at the time, but it looks like it's one of the old Arc'teryx models. I'm assuming it's pretty decent, but I'm not sure if anyone has any experience with this one. Couldn't find too much info on the Zeta AR model besides its discontinued. It seems like it may have also been before the industry change with PFAS, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if this has PFAS in it or not?

But I got pretty lucky and loved the color, and it was a great fit as well, and the price seemed pretty good.

And if anyone has any experience with this model and wants to share how they liked it or any tips for it or whatnot, that would be nice

Had a few big dirt spots showing up in my pictures, so I decided it's time to clean my sensor. And I did a lot of research into how to do it safely and properly, and thought I had a decent cleaning kit. But once I cleaned it, it left a bunch of streaks or scratches. Photos seem to be okay, but I'm not too sure.

But I'm screwed, right? Or is there somehow a chance this is just residue? And is there any way to fix this or no?
