Hi everyone !

As most of you know, when KDE was created, it was only a desktop environment, but it now has evolved into a whole ecosystem developed by a large community. So, back then, KDE meant « Kool Desktop Environment » (i love so much the K and the Kool meaning behind haha).

How would you name the letters of KDE in 2026, considering how much it evolved ? Personally, I have this in mind for a while now : « Kool Device Ecosystem », as Plasma and KDE Apps are now on phones and TVs.
