Is it dead? Homebrew monster thoughts

I made a homebrew monster that can only be perminantly killed by decapitating it, otherwise, it will come back to life in 1d4+1 hours. After a very intense battle and a near TPK, the barbarian got a nat 20 to kill this thing, and instead of cutting its head off she split its body down the center. I'm tempted to say that's enough, but there's also part of me that really wants to do one of two things:

  1. The body joins itself back together like Durge from the Tartakovsky Clone Wars show.

  2. There are now TWO of these things, and they are both hunting the party.

I'm mostly concerned about being fair to the rules I made, but also to the crit and just how awesome that combat was. It was probably one of the better combat sessions we've had, with the whole party bouncing around like a bunch of baboons when she got the crit.

Thank you for your thoughts!

Strange but fun songs

What are some enjoyable songs that seem strange or unhinged when you listen to it?

I'm thinking like "Send Me On My Way" by Rusted Root, "Mr. Roboto" by Styx, or "The Humpty Dance" by Digital Underground

Asking other Americans. The suffix "-ing" (as in running, walking, eating, etc) is either pronounced "in" or /iŋ/ (sorry for people who don't know the phonetic alphabet, but that's "ing" without a hard g). I recently heard some people from out of state using it with a hard g at the end (/iŋg; g as in goat, go, grape). It was really weird to me, and got me wondering how many people say it like that.

I used to play this mobile game just to listen to the song that plays while you're in your settlement. I found it very calming. I cannot find any information about this song from the game itself or from the developers (seal.games). Any help finding this would be helpful! I've been looking for days 😕
