Since starting T I’ll occasionally talk about it to my friends and family and I keep getting asked some variation of “So how long will it be before you stop taking it?” and its equally baffling to me every time lol. They’re all well meaning and generally supportive (or I wouldn’t bring up the topic) and so they‘re just asking to understand better.

But every time I’m just like… why would I stop??

I imagine that these questions are just a side effect of being cis but having looked forward to hrt for so long and seeing how much it’s helped my brain to just *work*, I can’t help but be a little baffled as to why I would ever stop except for a lack of access haha. This isn’t really anything deep, I just find it a little silly.
