First time home owner with a fireplace

Hello, i am a first time home owner in northern part of MI (not the UP)

How much wood should i be expected to use? I will probably use it 4-6 days a week on average.

Thoughts?/help!

Just purchased a property in northern michigan. My drainage field has/had a bunch of sumac regrowth.
I saw in this group somebody say cut and glyphosate the stumps.

Did i cause 10x work for myself? What should i do differently? Will this work?
