67 but feeling pretty good

I've missed to much gym time with a bad shoulder and I put on a few lbs. Time it pick it up because at my age I can't afford to get behind.

(67) trying to keep up my workouts is tough with a bad shoulder

I’m scheduled for a complete shoulder replacement next Friday. After a 2nd opinion and an MRI I’ve decided to cancel for now and try another round of steroid shots and PT. But it’s effecting my workouts and I feel like I’m losing some arm strength. At my age you can stay in shape but time starts taking its toll and my shoulder is just worn out and it’s bone on bone with severe arthritis.

(67) 5’10” 185 lbs anyone here have shoulder problems?

Having rotator cuff surgery in a couple of weeks. At my age I hate to get behind on working out because I’m not ready to start a downward phase but my body is feeling all my years.

I’ve had to cut back on almost all arm exercises due to extreme soreness and rotator cuff problems. Going to see the orthopedic Dr in 2 weeks. Anyone else my age experiencing the same thing?
