Suggestion: Enemies should upscale differently

The enemy upscaling should depend on closeness to the galactic centre, with enemies being more efficient the closer you get to it. That would make some sense and follow the natural progress for most players.

Instead, the way it works now where it's tied to your ship's dps potential makes no sense whatsoever.. Meaning, if you want to have a really effective fighter ship you shouldn't upgrade your weapons' systems at all, because then you are able to dispose of pirates with couple of shots... Ironically, the better your weapons' system get, the more trouble you have with disposing off the same enemy type.

When RNG blesses you with an epic space battle..

"Rescue freighter" battles are really one of the more underrated parts of this game. As when the rng blesses you with a cool looking freighter and a setting such as this colorful asteroid field, it becomes as epic as it gets.. Action and thrill is on par with any other game out there...

Hope in future we get more combat scenarios on a large scale, a couple more dynamic encounters or missions evoking the feel of these "rescue in space" encounters..

PSA: for newbies asking how to make quick cash - storm crystals and trade rockets is the way to go!

Find a nice little stormy moon yielding storm crystals... Moons will have them spaced out closer one batch to the other... Some stormy moons are richer with storm crystals, some poorer, but you can easily make between 3,5 - 7 million credits within 10 minutes. And using the trade rocket means you don't need to go back and forth to sell the goodies.

After almost 10 years of playing this game finally found what I can unironically call a forest

Took me about 5-6 minutes to walk through it.. Which is still not what you'd want from a real forest, but it's still much, much more than anything else I found in the game as far as forests are concerned..

Found this on a "chromatic fog" planet with lakes and occasional huge mountains spread through the surface. It's in a purple star system.

Planet name : Lord Huron

Ship building is fun to have, but ship hunting really gave me gameplay structure and reason to engage with all of the game's mechanics.

Proc gen really does produce works of beauty from time to time, but I would usually just turn my nose up to even the most beautiful ship out there, if it was b class or lower. Now I realize that lower the class, the more gameplay dvantage there is in it. As it gives you more incentive to earn cash and nanites to fully spruce it up and upgrade it to fullest.

Anybody else just play the game with OG ship hunting activity in their minds?

Started an onfoot journey to a minor settlement located 2 days away from my base, on my home planet: acrid giant Dremdogan. Will share photo updates along the way. These are first few from my cca 3 hour traversal so far.
