I’m slowly getting through my TOG re-read and I’m on QoS and I forgot how much my heart breaks for Kaltain. Her character in this book is MILES away from her character in TOG and just thinking about all the things she endured at Morath is truly sickening. She definitely deserved better and I hate how her story ended when there were still so many questions I had about her. I started the series hating her character and ended it sad for her

I don’t know what it is, but I’m struggling to get through Iron Gold, especially Ephraim’s chapter. Did anyone else have the same trouble or is it just me?
