Sleeping arrangement with limited space, 1yr old in same room as parents..

Long story short, our house is currently getting completely renovated so we are living with husband’s parents temporarily. Not ideal, and i hoped we would have moved by now but hey ho, it is what it is

Baby girl has just turned 1 a couple of days ago. Slept in a Moses basket until around 4 months ish, her sleep was okkk, not great but ok. Things then went bad and we ended up co-sleeping and here we are. She sleeps in our (double) bed in between husband and I. Her sleep is not great. She has never slept through the night and literally wakes up every 2ish hours. Sometimes it’s every hour and sometimes we may get a random 3hr stretch lol.

I go back to work next month and we all really need to sleep better. We are very limited on space, but we have managed to shuffle furniture around and have made some little space in our room.

We aim to move by the end of the year hopefully, little one will be just over 18 months ish by then.

Our options are:
- To use a travel cot as her permanent sleeping place until we move. My thinking is, we can fold it away/move it around if we need. But is it too much of a faf to do that? Also, I’ve heard the mattresses are pretty thin.

- A petite/mini cot. This would fit and would work I guess. She would outgrow it a lot sooner than a traditional cot but we just do not have the space in our room for a traditional sized cot/cot bed. Then again, our daughter isn’t very ‘big’ at all.

To add, I am still breastfeeding and I do have to nurse overnight too. Need to start weaning but thats for another day lol although I think her not being in our bed right next to me might help..? But yh, I am v small and petite (5ft) so I’m worried how I will lower baby into cot etc. My back already hurts as it is lol.
Sooo we did find a mini cot with a drop side (linked) which seems perfect! I didn’t know this was a thing and I know in a lot of countries they are banned but I believe they are ok in the UK? Has anybody used one?

Also, has anybody else had their 1yr old sleep in the same room? How has it been?

Any advice would be highly appreciated!
