Signing up for nationalgrid MA's Off-Peak Charging Program requires connecting to your Subaru account, and the choices are 'MySubaru' or 'Solterra Connect' when you get to that point in the process. When I got my Solterra, the dealer installed 'Subaru Connect' on my phone.
Is Subaru Connect the same as Solterra Connect?
And secondly, I thought these *Connect apps were subscriptions - what happens if you let the subscription lapse re the nationalgrid MA's Off-Peak Charging Program?
I'm having password issues at the moment, otherwise I would just experiment. (And if you know a way to reset the Subaru Connect password in the Android app, please share it!)
EDIT: Thanks for all the replies. I figured out my password issue and was able to connect with Subaru Connect. Reading the replies, however, this will turn out to be more trouble than it was worth, since I don't intend on keeping any of the subscriptions. I have a charger install happening this week, so I'll reconnect via the EVSE based on the replies people have left. Thanks everyone!
